Loneliness/social isolation is the number one health risk facing seniors in the United States.  

Silver Castle Care fills the gaps in the traditional services provided for senior citizens by focusing on the safety of their home, welfare checks, education about scams targeted at seniors, and – most importantly – human connection.  

As Senior Home Safety Specialists, we inspect homes for safety with particular attention paid to fall, fire, and other hazards. We maintain a list of trusted vendors who can provide any maintenance the inspection identified. Additionally, we offer monthly in-home checks to review maintenance schedules, look for changes in the environment, and watch for potential issues.  

While anyone can trip over their own feet, seniors can have a harder time getting up again. That is one reason why we also have scheduled check-in calls. If the call is not answered, we will call those listed on the emergency contact list, and, if necessary, call the police department for a welfare check.  

To protect them from bad actors, we teach our clients how to identify scams circulating through the community. This training includes input from and coordination with the police department.
